Round cable for connecting IDE devices upto UDMA 133 hard drives or other IDE devices such as CD ROMS to the motherboard. Upto 2 devices can be connected to the motherboard using this cable. The round cables are a much neater cabling solution than the traditional flat ribbon and also had the added advantage of improving the airflow within the case therefore aiding cooling.
